Must-Have Beauty Products for the Holidays
As 2024 comes to an end and the holidays begin to approach, it can be hard to know what to get your friends and family. Here, I have curated a beauty gift guide to help you choose what to buy.
Makeup:
Rare Beauty Blush - These viral blushes are totally worth the hype. They come in over ten shades with a selection of dewy and matte options to meet your makeup needs. They’re perfectly pigmented and make a great gift for both beginners and experienced makeup wearers.
Saie Glowy Supergel - This primer provides a glowy base to your makeup without feeling greasy. It wears well on its own or with other products like foundation on top.
Haus Labs Eyebrow Pencil - As someone who draws on eyebrows everyday, this is, by far, the best pencil I’ve tried. It glides effortlessly to create hair like strokes while giving good pigmentation to the brows.
Glossier Balm Dotcom - Glossier is one of my favourite brands for a reason. This lip balm/gloss hybrid gives a hydrated feeling to the lips while giving it a shiny look. It’s your lips but better.
Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss - Speaking of your lips, the Fenty lip gloss is one of the best on the market. It’s non-sticky, tastes amazing, and lasts forever.
Skincare:
The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum - If you need an inexpensive serum that helps control oil while keeping your skin hydrated, then this is the serum for you. I’ve used this for a year and my skin loves it. It’s great to try if you’re unsure about skin care.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser - If you want your skin to feel plump and hydrated after washing, this is a great cleanser. Your skin will be so soft after using and will feel so clean.
L’Occitane Hand Cream - Everyone knows about this cream because of how thick it is, but it is genuinely really good. It hydrates the skin without feeling greasy and is easy to stick into your bag.
Laneige Cream Skin Toner - Everyone talks about the lip masks from Laneige, and while they are good, their cream skin toner is a much better product. This helps with oil and texture without being drying. A little can go a long way!
Fragrance:
Sol de Janerio ‘62 - A cult favorite scent—that goes along with none other than the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream—smells of pistachios and caramel. It is one of the best body mists out there.
Phlur Body Mist Moonstone - Phlur is one of the less talked about brands, but their mists are divine. This is the one I usually reach for; its notes are green apple and jasmine.
Phlur Body Mist Vanilla Skin - If you want to smell like vanilla bean, then this is for you. This mist smells strongly of vanilla without being overly sweet.
